Marchitect is an AI operations and marketing infrastructure firm. We help $2M–$200M businesses install and operate the AI systems that run their operations. We operate through the Marchitect website, an assessment tool, and the Marchitect Portal (a private client workspace).

2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Contact forms: Name, email address, company name, and any message content submitted through the Site.
- Marketing assessment: Your responses to assessment questions, including details about your business, marketing activity, team structure, and budget ranges.
- Client onboarding: Business information, goals, marketing data, and other materials you provide as part of a consulting engagement.
- Portal submissions: Workshop answers, audit data, strategic documents, and other inputs entered into the Marchitect Portal.

When you visit the Site, we may collect:
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on page, clicks, and navigation paths.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertising.
4. Marketing Assessment Data
When you complete the free marketing assessment, we use your responses to:
- Generate your personalized assessment results.
- Understand your marketing situation and prepare for any follow-up conversation.
- Improve the accuracy and relevance of the assessment over time.
Assessment responses are stored securely and are not shared with third parties except as required to operate the tool (e.g., database hosting providers).
5. Marchitect Portal Data
Client data entered into the Marchitect Portal — including business strategy details, audience definitions, marketing playbook content, and performance data — is treated as confidential client information. We use this data solely to:
- Facilitate your engagement with Marchitect.
- Generate deliverables, workshop outputs, and strategic documents on your behalf.
- Improve our AI-assisted processes (in aggregate and de-identified form only).
Portal data is not shared with other clients or used for any purpose outside your engagement.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it in limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Hosting providers (e.g., Vercel), database platforms (e.g., Supabase), email platforms, and analytics tools that help us operate the Site and Services. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Marchitect, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with appropriate confidentiality protections.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies for:
- Session management: Keeping you logged in to the Portal.
- Analytics: Understanding how visitors interact with the Site (e.g., Google Analytics or equivalent).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality, including Portal login and assessment tracking.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Operate and improve the Services.
- Fulfill any ongoing engagement obligations.

If you are a prospective client who never converted, we retain your contact and assessment data for up to 24 months before deletion. If you are or were an active client, we retain engagement data for a minimum of 5 years.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction — including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting environments.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.

11. Children's Privacy
